SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

This device can be used by children aged 8 years and over, as well as by people
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or a lack of experience and
knowledge, if they are supervised or have been instructed in the safe use of the
device and understand the resulting dangers.
Children are not allowed to play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance must not
be carried out by children without supervision. Be sure to follow the safety instructions
for correct and safe use. Keep these instructions carefully.
If the owner changes, please pass on the instructions.
All work with this device may only be carried out in accordance with these instructions.
The combination of water and electricity can pose a serious risk to life and limb if not
connected correctly or handled improperly.
Only operate the device when there are no people in the water!
Before reaching into the water, always unplug all devices in the water. Compare the
electrical data of the power supply with the nameplate on the packaging or on the device.
Make sure that the device is protected by a residual current protection device with a
rated residual current of maximum 30 mA. Only operate the device on a properly instal-
led socket. Keep the power plug and all connection points dry! Lay the connecting cable in
a protected manner so that damage is prevented. Only use cables, installations, adapters,
extension or connecting cables with protective contact that are approved for outdoor
use. Do not carry or pull the device by the connecting cable! The device must not be
operated if the cable or housing is defective! If the mains connection cable of the device
is damaged, the device must be disposed of; replacing the mains connection cable is no
longer possible. If the cable is damaged, the device must be disposed of. Electrical instal-
lations on garden ponds must comply with international and national installer regulations.
Never open the housing of the device or its associated parts unless expressly stated in
the instructions for use. Never make technical changes to the device, this will immediate-
ly void any warranty and guarantee claims. Only use original spare parts and accessories.
Only have repairs carried out by authorized customer service centers.
