When not in use, accumulators (rechargeable batteries) discharge faster than conventio-
nal primary batteries. Therefore, do not leave charged accumulators (rechargeable bat-
teries) lying around unused. If you are not using the device for several months, remove
the accumulators (rechargeable batteries) from the device and store them properly. Pro-
tect your accumulators (batteries) by not using quick charging. Fast charging can involve
loss of capacity because not all products are suitable for this form of recharging. In
general, you should pay attention to safety and quality symbols when purchasing primary
batteries and accumulators (rechargeable batteries). It is also advisable to pay attention
to the safety and warning information that is noted on primary batteries and accumula-
tors (rechargeable batteries).

INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING

The fish scaler may only be used if it is in technically perfect condition, in accordance
with its intended purpose and in an awareness of the risks.
Before first use, fully charge the battery using the charger included in delivery. When
inserting the battery, pay attention to the positioning of the three contact pieces. After
the battery has been inserted into the device, screw the cover closed.
If the battery is empty, the fish scaler automatically stops working. Unscrew the device
and remove the battery to fully charge it again. The device must be completely dry befo-
re removing or changing the battery.
Remove the battery from the charger when a green light turns on. This will help you
avoid damage and accidents caused by overloading.
So that you don't have to pause your work while charging, a second battery is included in
the scope of delivery.
First, tap the fish with a blunt object. Place the device in one hand and the fish's head in
the other. Press the pressure bar down, place it on the fish's head and carefully pull the
device repeatedly towards the fish's tail to remove the scales.
