Important information
• The power of the solar panel varies according to the time of year and depends on the duration
and strength of the sunlight. During prolonged periods without sufficient sunlight (especially in
winter), the batteries may not charge enough to power the light for a sustained period of time.
In these weather conditions, the batteries will charge less during the day than they discharge at
night, causing the battery life to decrease. In such circumstances, the batteries may completely
discharge, which can damage the batteries. Turn the light off during these periods (turn the
switch to the "OFF" position).
• Keep the solar panel clean. Dust and dirt reduce the efficiency of the solar panel, causing the
charging current for the rechargeable batteries to decrease.
• Cold temperatures have a negative impact on the battery life (the light stays on for a shorter
period at night). In order to prolong the lifespan of the product, you are advised to store it in a
dry, warm room during the winter (or when you are not going to use the product for a long time).
Turn the product off before putting it away (turn the switch to the "OFF" position).
• You can charge the batteries using a suitable battery charger before placing them into the
product. Observe the instructions in this manual when removing/replacing the rechargeable
batteries.

Charging the batteries

The internal batteries are charged via solar power.
You are advised to charge new rechargeable batteries with a battery charger before
inserting them into the product. This will ensure that the batteries are sufficiently
charged for you to perform a functional test upon first use.

Operation

• Turn the product on. "ON" position = on (light is white). "RGB"
position = on (light changes between red, green and blue).
• Turn the product off. "OFF" position = off.
• The twilight switch turns the lamp on as soon as the ambient
brightness drops to (or below) a certain value. When it gets
brighter again, the lamp turns off.
• A twilight switch turns the LEDs on when the brightness
drops below 50 lx (with lamp head) / 20 lx (without lamp
head) and switches the LEDs off when the brightness is
greater than 55 lx (with lamp head) / 25 lx (without lamp
head).

inserted securely into the ground and that it cannot fall over.

Changing the battery

Replace the rechargeable batteries with batteries of the same type and capacity (see "Technical
data") if there is a noticeable drop in the lamp's brightness when it has only been turned on for a
short period.
