11. Troubleshooting

Problem
No or too small water flow rate
Discharge valve opens without re-
ason (no fluctuation of inlet pressure)
Discharge valve does not close
Water is escaping from spring hood Valve insert diaphragm damaged
The outlet pressure set does not re-
main constant

Cause
Refilling combination is not fitted in
flow direction
Ball valves up- or downstream of refil-
ling combination are not fully open
Pressure reducing valve is not set to
the desired outlet pressure
integrated strainer is contaminated clean strainer
Non return valve upstream or dischar-
ge valve are contaminated
Discharge valve is contaminated or
faulty
Valve insert, sealing ring or edge of
nozzle is contaminated or worn - un-
wanted rise above set pressure

Remedy
Fit refilling combination in flow direc-
tion (note direction of arrow on hou-
sing)
Open ball valves fully
Set outlet pressure
Remove cartridge insert and clean or
exchange it
Remove cartridge insert and clean or
exchange it
Exchange valve insert
