placing a damp paper towel on the surface. Then clean using a non-abrasive plastic
scrubber.
• For easier cleaning, the cooking plates can be removed and washed separately. How-
ever, avoid using boiling water – the backside of the plates may oxidize (known as
"staining").
• Do not use abrasive cleaners, as they may damage the non-stick surface.
• When removing food, use only wooden or plastic utensils to avoid damaging the
surface of the cooking plates.
• Wipe the exterior surface of the grill only with a damp cloth. Do not use steel wool or
abrasive scrubbers, as they can damage the surface. Do not immerse the grill in water
or other liquids.
• Do not place the grill in a dishwasher.
• After each use, remove and empty the drip tray, and wash it in warm soapy water. Do
not use steel wool or coarse cleaning agents.
• Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft, clean cloth.
Storage
• Always unplug the grill from the electrical outlet before storing.
• Make sure the grill is completely cooled and dry before storing.
• For easier storage, the power cord can be wrapped around the bottom of the base.
Disposal
Electrical appliances, their accessories, and packaging should be reused or recycled
in an environmentally friendly way wherever possible. They do not belong in regular
household waste. This guidance applies only to EU countries.
In accordance with EU Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE) on the disposal of waste electrical
and electronic equipment, appliances that are no longer in use must be collected and
