MATERIALS
A 1 Main Crossbar
B 2 Side Arms
C 4 M10x90x1.5mm Bolts, Flat Washers (40mm O.D),57mm bushes, Flat Washers (25mm O.D.) & Nyloc Nuts.
D 4 M10x35x1.5mm Bolts, Flat Washers (25mm O.D) & Nyloc Nuts.
ZE 1 Electric Plate

FITTING
1. Open boot, and luggage compartment to collect spare wheel brace. Lift up boot carpet to locate spare wheel
mechanism and turn to lower spare wheel and remove. Some vehicles have the spare wheel in the luggage
compartment, whereby the towbar fitting points are within the side compartments inside the boot.
2. On left side prise off rubber to unsecure back exhaust box and support. Remove heat shield.
3. Locate mounting points on inside chassis rails (some models have 240mm mounting point centres, other models are
215mm apart). Poke through holes to locate outer chassis holes and clean off any wax oil away from contact areas.
4. Assemble bolt arrangement (C) together with large washer and bush and locate through outer chassis face inwards.
Offer up side arms (B) on the inside chassis face and loosely secure.
5. Add Main crossbar to side arms using fixings (D). Tighten up all the fixings to their recommended torque settings.
6. Add selected neck to the centre profiles, the models with 240mm centres use the holes that are furthest rearward,
215mm mounting centres use the other set of holes. Attach electric plate (ZE). Torque accordingly.
7. Mark bumper with proposed cut and offer onto the vehicle ensuring cut is adequate. Cut bumper and refit using original
fasteners. Refit exhaust.
Recommended torque settings: Grade 8.8 bolts: M10 - 52 Nm, M12 - 80 Nm, M16 - 200 Nm
