Often visual control of the instrument is suffi cient to
discover a faulty device which can easily be replaced
by a spare part.
The advantages of do-it-yourself repair are obvious:

Possible Cause
Filter dirty or valve system damaged
Filter not properly positioned or valve
system damaged
Silicone adapter damaged
Suction bellows or valve system
damaged

Action to be taken
Replace filter,

Insert filter or replace valve system,
➢ page 14
Unscrew the adapter support of the
instrument, replace silicone adapter
Replace the looking ring with the
suction bellows or the valve system
If recommendations in the Trouble Shooting do not
resolve current problems, contact your supplier.
