TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
Indicator of the switch is off.
The egg(s) boiled is/are
too hard.
The egg(s) boiled is/are
too soft.
The egg(s) exploded
during cooking.
CARE AND CLEANING
Always unplug the egg cooker from the electrical outlet and allow to cool down
before cleaning. Some residue water in the base is normal after use.
WARNING!
•
Allow unit to cool before handling or cleaning.
•
Do not submerge base of unit in water or liquid.
•
Wash all removable parts in hot soapy water. Thoroughly dry all parts and
place next to the unit or store them when not in use.
•
Wipe the body housing with a damp cloth.
•
Clean heating plate with a damp cloth.
•
To remove any mineral remains; use a paper towel moistened with one tablespoon
white vinegar or use a descaling powder to keep the heating plate clean.
•
NOTE! If the base is not cleaned regularly, minerals naturally occurring in water
will build up and cause discoloration of eggshells. However, discoloration of
the eggshells does not affect the taste of the eggs.
•
Use the cord wrap feature located underneath the unit to store extra cord.
Place the egg coocking rack, inside the egg cooker to store.
•
Any other service should be performed by an authorized service representative.

Possible cause
The appliance is not
plugged in.
You have not set the timer.
The set time is not suitable
for the egg's size.

Base is extremely hot after use.
Solution
Put the mains plug in an
earthed wall socket.
Turn the timer knob to
the required cooking time
to switch on the appliance.
Reduce the boiling time.
Increase the boiling time.
Pierce the egg(s)
before cooking.
