Connection
This equipment has been designed to one of the following safety classes. The appropriate
warning should be observed.
Safety Class 1
Safety Class 2
Before connecting the equipment to the mains electricity supply, please examine the infor-
mation on the rating label affixed to the equipment.
Ensure that the supply is single phase alternating current ( a.c ) of the state frequency (Hz)
with Neutral nominally at earth potential.
Check that the supply voltage is within the stated range.
The equipment rating label states the value of the input fuse fitted to the apparatus itself.
Ensure that the plug or outlet circuit is fitted with an appropriate fuse of higher value.
For safety class 1
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance to the following code.
Green
Blue
Brown
Connect these wires to a non-reversible 3-pin plug as follows;
Green and Yellow wire
Blue wire to terminal
Brown wire to terminal
For safety class 2 - Double Insulated
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance to the following code.
Blue
Brown
