Menu Function Settings

1. Squelch : SQUELCH
1.1. Press the [MENU] key briefly until SQUELCH is displayed.
1.2. Press the UP or DOWN key to select the squelch level, and long press the
[MENU] key to confirm.
Note:
The noise level is divided into 0 - 9 levels. The higher the squelch level, the lower the
chance of interference, but it will have an effect on the communication distance. At
the level 0, the speaker is the often open state.
2. Scanning: SCAN
2.1. Press the [MENU] key briefly until SCAN is displayed.
2.2. Short press the UP or DOWN key to select TS/CS, long press the [MENU] key to
confirm
Note:
CS=Carrier Scan: When a signal is detected on Channel A, scanning is paused until
the signal disappears, then resumes.
TS=Time Scan: When a signal is detected on Channel A, scanning is paused for 5
seconds and then resumed. If the signal disappears within 5 seconds, scanning will
resume immediately.
3.Scanning Mode: PRIWATCH (PRI=Priority )
3.1. Press the [MENU] key briefly until PRIWATCH is displayed.
3.2. Short press the UP or DOWN key to select ON/OFF and long press the [MENU]
key to confirm.
Note:
OFF: If OFF is selected, scaning for cycle through channels, such as Channel 1-
Channel 2- Channel 3- Channel 4...
ON: If ON is selected, when scanning, 16 channels will be added each time for
scanning, such as Channel 1- Channel 2- Channel 3- Channel 4- Channel
16...1-2-3-4-16...1-2-3-4-16...1-2-3-4-16 ...
4. Call Tone: CALLTONE
4.1. Press the [MENU] key briefly until CALLTONE is displayed.
4.2. Short press the UP or DOWN key to select the call tone, and long press the
[MENU] key to confirm.
Note: There are 5 call tones to choose from.
5. Busy Lock: BUSYLOCK
5.1. Press the [MENU] key briefly until BUSYLOCK is displayed.
5.2. Short press the UP or DOWN key to select ON/OFF and long press the [MENU]
key to confirm.
Note:
When ON is selected, the screen will display BCL. At this time, when receiving a
signal, pressing [PTT] button to transmit is invalid.
6. TX End Tone: ROGER
6.1. Press the [MENU] key briefly until ROGER is displayed.
6.2. Short press the UP or DOWN key to select ON/OFF, long press the [MENU] key
to confirm.
