Commend XDX FB
Gypsum wall/panel mount kit for an id5, od1 or od5.
Extent of supply
• Mounting box
• Gasket
• Drilling template/signal cover
• Short reference
Required tools
• Phillips screwdriver (PZD2)
• Torx screwdriver (TX8; included in the extent of supply of the Intercom
station)
Mounting
If necessary, stick the supplied gasket onto the mounting box.
Make sure the arrows on the mounting frame point upwards.
Install the mounting box to the wall by means of the supplied drilling
template. Press the four claw clamps on the sides of the mounting box
outwards and tighten them using the corresponding screws (PZD2).
If required, mount the tamper switch TAMP-KIT (not included in the
extent of supply; for mounting details, see respective short reference).
Connect the cables.
Insert the Intercom station at the top of the mounting frame.
Press the Intercom station with its lower end onto the mounting box.
Turn the locking screw anti-clockwise down as far as it will go using
the TX8 screwdriver (included in the extent of supply of the Intercom
station). Check whether the lower end of the Intercom station is fixed
on the mounting frame.
NOTE: Dismounting
For dismounting, screw the locking screw clockwise as far as it will go,
release the device from below with some force and remove the device in a
downward motion.
NOTE: Mounting on brick walls
For mounting on brick walls, additionally the flush mount box XDX FBS
is required (not included in the extent of supply). In this case, mount the
flush mount box XDX FBS in the wall and then continue with

• Kreuzschlitzschraubendreher (PZD2)
• Torx-Schraubendreher (TX8; im Lieferumfang der Sprechstelle enthal-
ten)
Montage
Bei Bedarf die beiliegende Dichtung auf die Montagedose kleben.
Prüfen, ob die Pfeile am Montagerahmen nach oben zeigen.
Die Montagedose mithilfe der beiliegenden Bohrschablone an der
Wand montieren. Die vier Krallenklemmen seitlich an der Montagedose
nach außen drücken und über die dazugehörigen Schrauben festziehen
(PZD2).
Bei Bedarf den Sabotage-Schalter TAMP-KIT (nicht im Lieferumfang
enthalten; für Details zur Montage siehe entsprechenden Beipackzettel).
Die Kabel anschließen.
Die Sprechstelle oben am Montagerahmen einsetzen.
Das unteren Ende der Sprechstelle an die Montagedose drücken.
Mittels TX8-Schraubendreher (im Lieferumfang der Sprechstelle
enthalten) die Arretierschraube gegen den Uhrzeigersinn bis zum An-
schlag herausdrehen. Prüfen, ob das untere Ende der Sprechstelle am
Montagerahmen arretiert ist.
HINWEIS: Demontage
Zur Demontage die Sicherungsschraube im Uhrzeigersinn bis zum
Anschlag schrauben, das Gerät mit etwas Kraft von unten lösen und das
Gerät nach unten abziehen.
HINWEIS: Montage an Ziegelwänden
Für die Montage an Ziegelwänden wird zusätzlich die Unterputzdose
XDX FBS benötigt (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten). In diesem Fall erst
. die Unterputzdose XDX FBS in der Wand montieren und dann mit
fortfahren.
