Thank you for choosing the Callowesse Omni Retractable Gate. A retractable baby gate is a unique and practical

alternative to hardware and pressure mounted safety gates, with the primary objective of safety remaining the same.
Omni is a one of its kind retractable, creating a safety barrier in your home, as, and when you need it. Its multidirectional
ability to rotate 180 degrees allows you to use the gate for multiple doors with no re-installation required.
Please read the instructions carefully prior to installation to ensure the gate is installed safely,
as failure to do so may result in injury.

Incorrect fi tting of the gate can be dangerous!

WARNING - Incorrect installation of safety gates can cause malfunction.
WARNING - Do not use stairgate if any components are damaged or missing.
WARNING - The gate must not be fi tted across cavity walls.
WARNING - The gate must not be fi tted across windows.
Retractable gates are made from pliable fabric, therefore must be fi tted correctly to avoid accidents and the risk of children
crawling underneath. Fit the gate so that the bottom is as close to the fl oor as possible. When installed at the top of their stairs
the gate MUST be positioned 20cm BACK from the top step.

This product has been designed for use with children up to 24 months of age.
This gate complies with EN1930:2011.
This gate is for domestic use only.
The gate should be checked regularly to ensure that it remains securely fi xed.
Eventually your child will reach an age at which they are capable of opening the gate. Children will develop physically
and mentally at different rates, therefore it is important that you monitor your child's capabilities.
• Ensure the gate is closed and locked at all times.
• Never allow young children to swing on the gate.
• Do not allow older children to climb over the gate.
• Do not hang or tie anything to any part of the gate. This includes toys.
• This gate is suitable for openings up to 130cm wide.
• The gate must be fi tted between rigid surfaces such as: plaster, timber, brick or metal. Consult a professional if in doubt.
• The gate is designed for indoor use only. – Use outside at your own risk
• Do not install if any parts are damaged or missing. Any additional or replacement parts should be obtained from Callowesse Ltd only.
• Once the gate is installed, read the instructions again and check the gate is fi tted correctly.

2. Installation
Surface
Always ensure the length of your chosen screws is suitable for the desired location.
• For wooden surfaces: use the shorter screws provided. 8 holes using an 8mm drill must be drilled prior to installation.
• For solid walls such as concrete or tile: use the longer screws and plastic screw anchors provided. 8 holes using an 8mm drill must
be drilled prior to installation.
