This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Care should be taken when using the appliance due to the emission of steam;
Unplug the appliance during filling and cleaning;
– the filling, or decalcifying, or rinsing, or inspection apertures that are under pressure shall
not be opened during use (for fabric steamers with pressurized compartments only);
– the fabric steamer is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of
damage or if it is leaking.
– The fabric steamer must not be left unattended while it is connected to the supply mains;
– keep the fabric steamer and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years of age when
it is energized or cooling down.
The equipment does not have an off mode, a standby mode or other equivalent state in terms
of energy efficiency requirements.
