clickMaster
Set up
• Unpack carefully and place the Clickmaster on a flat
surface, ideally 74cm from the floor. When lifting the
machine, lift from the bottom. Do not carry the machine
by the punch handle.
Punching the document
• Collate the document and insert the edge to be bound into
the punch throat, maximum 16 sheets at a time. Jog the
sheets until they are flush against the edge guide and the
back wall of the punch throat (fig 2, A).
• With the paper resting on the punching platform, pull the
punch handle towards you (fig 2, B). Then, return the punch
handle to its original position and remove the paper from the
punch throat.
Determine the correct ibiClick size
• For good results it is best to use a ibiClick with a diameter
that is similar to the thickness of the document to be bound.
In order to determine the correct comb size, place the
collated document with its covers into the binder sizer
(fig 3).
Binding the document
Place the ibiClick, open face upwards, onto the loading
1
platform, under the retaining fingers. (fig 4)
Collate the document and feed it onto the open ibiClick.
2
(fig 5)
Re-opening the document
• To re-open the ibiClick, run the zipper through the inside
of the ibiClick, along its entire length. This will release the
documents and allow it to be updated (fig 8).
Waste Tray
• The waste tray is located under the machine, at the rear.
Empty the tray on a regular basis, to prevent clogging and
possible damage. (fig 7)
Edge Guide adjustment
• Ensure that the Edge Guide (fig 1) is set to 'A4'.
• Repeat this operation until the whole document is punched.
• If punching PVC covers, insert no more than two covers at
a time as this material, in large quantities, could cause jams
or excessive wear.
• Slide the indicator across until it touches the document. It
will give you the measurement for the recommended ibiClick
to use.
Feed the zipper over one end of the ibiClick and zip up the
3
ibiClick by sliding the zipper along its length. The ibiClick
will 'click' together neatly, creating the bound book. (fig 6)
Release the bound document from the retaining fingers.
4
• After the document has been amended, zip up the
document again, as before (fig 6).
ibiClick and cover storage
• The Clickmaster has built in storage for ibiClicks and
binding covers. Keep them stored in the machine so that
you do not waste time looking for suitable supplies with
which to bind.
