What you need
• USB-C cable (included)
• USB adapter or USB power supply (not included)
• Mobile phone, tablet, or laptop with Bluetooth (not included)
• TF/SD card (optional, not included)
How to charge the speaker
Connect the included cable to the speaker and plug the USB end into a power source. The speaker will charge
when you see a red light. When the speaker is fully charged, the red light will turn off.
How to set up the device
Make sure the speaker is fully charged before using it. Turn on the speaker by pressing and holding the power
button for 3 seconds. The speaker will appear under the new Bluetooth connections on your device as 'BRAINZ
S170'. Clicking on this will connect your device and the speaker will be ready for use. The speaker will let you know
when your device is connected by means of a sound.
Volume
Briefly click the + button to increase the volume. To decrease the volume, click the – button.
Pausing music
Briefly click the M pause/play button to pause the music. Repeat this to resume the music.
Next/previous song
To go to the previous track, press and hold the – button. To go to the next track, press and hold the + button.
LED
Briefly press the button with the 'sun' symbol to switch between the different LED settings. Press and hold this
button to turn off the LED lighting.
Turning off
To turn off the speaker, press and hold the on/off button for 3 seconds.
Caution:
Do not use a charger with a higher voltage than suitable for this product.
