General advice:
For use on cars
The mat is only suitable for indoor use, e.g., for garages, car parks – do not use it outdoors or fold it hard!
In order to avoid damage to the surface of the automobile, we recommend, you place a soft cloth between the car and the
shock mat.
Care and cleaning:
Remove the control unit from the mat (it is attached via push buttons).
Clean the "VOSS.miniPet Shock Mat" with a soft cloth and mild soapy water. Dry the mat with a towel and, afterwards,
fasten the control unit via the push buttons on the mat. Please make sure that the mat does not get into contact with the
water. The "VOSS.miniPet Shock Mat" is a very durable product and it will last for years with the right care.
Water resistant:
The mat is water resistant but not waterproof. Water on the mat does not reduce the effectiveness.
The control unit is not waterproof, only water resistant. It will stop working if it gets too wet. It then has to be fully dried
before it can be used again. Do not immerse the control unit in water.
Temperature:
At low temperatures of 15° C and below, it is possible that the mat starts curling or becomes uneven. This does not impede
its functioning. It will flatten as soon as the temperatures rise again.
TESTING THE "VOSS.miniPet Shock Mat"
There are two possibilities for testing the mat.
After having inserted the 9-volt battery, press the MODE button once. The first setting is SOUND + STATIC STIMULATI-
ON. Use this setting for the test. Touch two wires at the same time with the side of your hand (this part of your hand is not
very sensitive). This activates the mat.
Option 1 (0-20 seconds)
Please follow these instructions in order to test the mat, without experiencing a static stimulation.
Touch two wires at the same time and within 20 seconds after turning the device on. You will hear a quite noise. This
indicates that the mat is functioning properly.
Option 2 (after 20 seconds)
Please follow these instructions in order to test the mat and experience a static stimulation. Touch two wires at the same
time and more than 20 seconds after turning the device on. The red LED flashes while you hear the sound and experience
the static pulse. The longer you touch the mat, the stronger the pulse will be.

The "VOSS.miniPet Shock Mat" can be used for cats and dogs of any breed or size.

Is the static stimulation safe and humane?
A:
The static stimulation will be unpleasant but harmless for your pet.

Is the "VOSS.miniPet Shock Mat" waterproof?
A:
The "VOSS.miniPet Shock Mat" is water resistant but not waterproof.
Water on the mat itself does not reduce the effectiveness.

A built-in safety function turns the static stimulation off if your pet stays on the mat for more than 15 seconds. The mat is
turned back on after 3 minutes.

By using this product you agree to all the conditions and information mentioned.
2. Field of application
This product is meant for use on animals from which a certain behaviour is wished (if a behaviour is meant to be trained).
If your pet is particularly temperamental, it may be better not to use the mat.
For aggressive animals, we recommend not to use the "VOSS.miniPet Shock Mat".
If you are unsure whether the mat is the right product for your pet, we ask you kindly to check with your vet or certified dog
trainer before using the product. Please read the manual before first use.
3. Unlawful and prohibited use
The product is intended for the use on animals.
The "VOSS.miniPet Shock Mat" is not meant to cause damage or injury or to provoke.
Caution important:

Never use this product on or near stairs
•
Be careful not to stumble over the mat or to slip on it
•
Do not use the mat near an open fire
•
Keep away from children, the mat is not a toy
•
Warn other people around you about the mat and its affects
Caution: Do not remove the control unit when wet. This could cause damage.
Battery life
The average life of the battery is 3-4 months. Switch off the mat, by pressing the button for a few seconds,
when not in use.

Since we sell batteries and rechargeable batteries, we are obligated to inform you about the Batteries Act as follows:
Disposing of batteries into household garbage is not permitted; you are bound by law to return used batteries. Used batte-
ries can contain harmful substances which can damage the environment or your health when not disposed of correctly.
Batteries also contain important commodities such as iron, zinc, manganese or nickel which will be recycled.
You may send the used batteries back to us, or you can return them to your local recycling center free of charge (recom-
mended).

The chemical name of the pollutant is located in the vicinity of the symbol.
CD = battery or battery contains cadmium
PB = battery or battery containing lead

Zi = battery or battery containing zinc
MH = battery or battery containing metal hydride
