Programming the remote control

Caution
• Risk of injury by electric shock.
• Must be installed by an authorised electrician!
• Only the back of the hand is protected by the device. No protection
against accidental contact!
• The programming button must be operated with an insulated tool.
• The switched current of the device must be observed at all times.
Note
Before entering this VC421 transmitter, be sure that first a master trans-
mitter was programmed into the receiver and the motor learned the upper
and lower stops.
Please refer to the operating instructions for the receiver.
Programming VC421
a) Press the programming button of the master transmitter until acknowledge-
ment is given by the receiver.
b) Now press the programming button of the new transmitter until acknowledge-
ment is given by the receiver
c) Then press the programming button of the new transmitter to be learnt once
again.
The receiver will indicate when the learn process has been successfully com-
pleted.
The maximum radio range is up to 25 m indoors and up to 350 m in the open.
