2 = Battery 30 - 69% charged
3 = Battery less than 30% charged
4 = Battery flat of defective
5. Work light
(See figure 7)
Pulling the switch trigger will turn on the LED light
6. Reversing the Rotation Direction
(See figure 8)
Reversing the rotation direction must be done
only when the tool is switched off. Reversing the
direction during operation may damage the tool.
L (Left rotation): Counterclockwise direction (for
loosening of screw)
R (right rotation): Clockwise direction (for fastening
of screw, drilling)
Neutral: Rotation lock (for changing the bit)
7. Adjusting the speed
(1) Press the switch
The power tool switch allows the speed to be
increased steplessly up maximum.
(See figure 9)
(2) Move the speed selector switch
1: Low speed, high torque
2: High speed, low torque
Do not change direction of rotation
until the power tool is at a stand still.
8. Torque setting
1) Screw work
• Torque selection is possible from among eighteen
setting ranges by torque adjustment ring. For
the impact drill and then set the screw (
function selection ring and sets the ranges of
the torque adjustment ring.
low setting range when working with small
1
screw or at soft working material.
high setting range when working with large
18
screw or at hard working material.
• When the tool is reached at the set torque, the
overload clutch begins to work to keep the tool
in the desired torque. You should set the desired
torque in the practical work.
2) Drilling
• Set the torque adjustment ring to the drilling
position. (
); Driver Drill
• Set the function selection ring to the drilling
position. (
• The switch has braking function. When you
release the switch, it brings the motor to a sudden
stop. Also, the surplus rotation will be stopped.
When the drill is locked by overload while
you use it in drilling position, let the switch go
immediately to release the locked tool. If the
locking status lasted for a long time, the motor can
be overheated and damaged by fire.
3) Hammer drilling (Only Impact Drill)
• Set the function selection ring to the hammer
drilling. ( )
• For drilling in brick, block, mortar, concrete,
asphalt, tile or other similar hard materials.
9. Automatic Spindle lock
-
The drill spindle is locked when the switch is not
pressed.
-
This makes quick and easy changing of the tool in
the drill chuck possible.
10. Residual current device (Only for
Australia and Newzealand markets)
Recommendation that the tool always be supplied
via residual current device with a rated residual
current of 30 mA or less.
Maintenance and Servicing
Always keep tool and air vent clean
for safe work.
Before beginning cleaning, remove the battery from
) of
the power tool.
• Care of insert tools
After working, clean off dirt and dust in order to
use the insert tools longer
• Care of the power tool
Keep the power tools, especially its
grip surfaces, clean and free from oil
and grease.
• Do not use a spray, steam pressure cleaning
equipment or running water for cleaning.
• Clean the ventilaion slots carefully using a dry
brush.
1) Changing tool
Before you change the tool, you
must remove the battery from the
