4. Hardware Installation

Please follow the installation instructions below.
1. Before installation, discharge any static electricity from any object that may come into contact
with the USB hub. This can be done by touching a bare metal rail after switching off the
system.
2. Mount the EX-1502HMVS on the wall or on a DIN-Rail using the supplied DIN-Rail kit.
3. Connect the USB-C input (IN) of the adapter to the host port using a suitable cable.
4. Connect your USB device to the USB-C socket of the downstream port (OUT) using a suitable
USB cable.

5. Driver Installation

All Operating Systems

After the hardware installation the OS will recognize the device automatically and install the
drivers.
CHECK INSTALLED DRIVER
Open the >Device manager<. Now you should see at „Ports (COM & LPT)" & „USB-Controller" the
following new entry's:
