then store.
If foods have burnt onto the grill plate, leave it to soak for a
few hours, and then clean it as described above.
To clean and maintain a cooking stone: use a metal scraper to
remove residue, rinse with hot water without dish soap, and
dry thoroughly to prevent condensation and oxidation. Steel
wool can be used, but it may dull its appearance. With use, the
stone will darken naturally. For granite, use non-abrasive, acid-
free products to prevent yellowing due to light, heat, and
oxygen. Marks on a marble plate are due to normal wear and
tear and do not affect safety or performance.
