Description
This adapter by Delock emulates a monitor so that the signal source does not
switch off the signal or change the resolution, even without a connected monitor.
The adapter contains a standard set of EDID/DDC data, but it can also read and
save the data of a connected monitor.

Note
The internal EDID of the emulator has three modes: default mode, smart mode
and backup mode. The default mode is designed to meet the requirements of
most usage environments up to HDMI 2.0. With HDMI 2.1 devices, smart mode is
recommended. If a specific EDID is needed, you can enter the backup mode and
transfer the EDID backup from the monitor into the emulator.
