GENERAL INFORMATION

CHARGE PROCESS
See A on page 2. The figure shows the charge process in a graph with Voltage (V) and Current (I) over time (t) The charge status is shown by the LED display.
See E on page 3.
PRE-CHARGING ANALYSIS
The charger checks if the battery is correctly connected. The battery's charge level (V) is measured.
POST-CHARGING ANALYSIS
The charger analyses the battery again after the charging phase. Post analysis can detect batteries with a short circuit in individual cells. This cannot be detected in
the pre analysis. If the battery voltage drops below 12V within 2min, the charger will go into error mode and the red warning triangle will start to flash. The charging
sequence will be stopped.
MAINTENANCE CHARGING
After the battery is fully charged, the charger will deliver 13,6V with a maximum of 50A. This is indicated by all battery LEDs slowly pulsating.

SHOWROOM SUPPORT MODE
(Pressing only the power button)
When the power button is pressed (5), the LED's (2) illuminate one by one in a 'bottom to the top' cycle. The charger will be in power supply mode and supply
14.0V and Max 50Amp. If the output short circuits in this mode, the charger will go into error mode (1). You must press the power button (5) to turn off the
charger, correct the problem, then restart the charger.
BATTERY SUPPORT MODE
(Pressing only the power button)
When the power button is pressed (5), the LED's (2) illuminate one by one in a 'bottom to the top' cycle. The charger will be in power supply mode and supply
14.0V and Max 50Amp. If the output short circuits in this mode, the charger will go into error mode (1). You must press the power button (5) to turn off the
charger, correct the problem, then restart the charger.
BATTERY CHARGING MODE – (AGM IN VEHICLE)
(Power on, then press the 'AGM' button within 5 seconds)
Pressing the AGM button (4) starts charging the battery with a maximum of 50A until the voltage level reaches 14.4V. The power button (5) will be illuminated in
this mode, and the battery charge status (2) will be shown by the number of LED lights illuminated. Once the battery is fully charged, all 5 LED's will be lit. If the
battery voltage is below 2.0V, the charger will enter 'error mode', and the warning triangle (1) above the battery indication will flash.
BATTERY CHARGING MODE – (AGM OUT OF VEHICLE)
(Power on, then press the 'AGM' button for 5 seconds or more). Same functionality as AGM 'in vehicle Charging mode' however the AGM button (4) will flash whilst
in this mode.
BATTERY CHARGING MODE – (LITHIUM IN VEHICLE)
(Power on, then press 'LI' button within 5 seconds)
Pressing the Li button (3) briefly will activate the charging profile for Li-Ion batteries and is to be used when charging the battery whilst installed in the vehicle.
The Li button (3) will be illuminated in this mode, and the battery charge status (2) will be shown by the number of LED lights illuminated. Once the battery is fully
charged, all 5 LED's will be lit.
