• Bei Nichteinhaltung dieser Montageanleitung erlischt die
Zulassung für diese Durchsturzsicherung.
• Für unsachgemäße Montage und nicht bestimmungs-
gemäße Benutzung der Durchsturzsicherung wird seitens
des Herstellers keine Haftung übernommen.
• Nach vollständiger und sachgerechter Befestigung der
Durchsturzsicherung ist die bauseitige Dachöffnung gegen
Durchsturz gesichert. Beachten Sie jedoch, dass die Durch-
sturzsicherung keine begehbare Dachfläche darstellt und
in keiner Weise zweckentfremdet belastet werden darf (Be-
fahren, Aufstellen von Gerüsten, Absetzen von Paletten
usw.)!
Anwendungsbereich
Die ESSMANN Durchsturzsicherung LK - L ist geeignet für die
Sicherung bauseitiger Dachöffnungen unterhalb von Licht-
kuppeln mit und ohne Rauch- und Wärmeabzugsgerät gegen
Durchsturz auf Flachdächern.
Für das ESSMANN Rauch- und Wärmeabzugsgerät Typ
NRWG LK 24V 160 darf die Durchsturzsicherung LK - L nicht
montiert werden! Verwenden Sie stattdessen die Durchsturzsi-
cherung vom Typ LK - L - RWG!
Die Montage ist nur zulässig, wenn die bauseitige Dachkon-
struktion eine sichere Befestigung entsprechend der Zulassung
ermöglicht. Die Durchsturzsicherung LK - L ist vorgesehen und
geeignet zur Montage auf allen gängigen Unterkonstruktionen.
Beachten Sie, dass sich bei Rauch- und W ärmeabzugsgeräten
der aerodynamische Abzugswert ändern kann.

Die Schrauben und gegebenenfalls Dübel für die Befestigung
der Durchsturzsicherungsmatte sind nicht im Lieferumfang
enthalten! Siehe hierzu Tabelle 1 und Tabelle 3.

• Non-compliance with these installation instructions invali-
dates the registration of the fall-through protection.
• The manufacturer can assume no liability for the incorrect
installation or improper use of the fall-through protection.
• Once the fall-through protection has been completely and
properly fastened, no objects or people can fall through the
existing roof opening. Please bear in mind, however, that
the fall-through protection does not constitute an accessi-
ble part of the roof; under no circumstances may it be ex-
posed to loads or used for purposes other than the intended
utilisation (do not drive on it, mount scaffolding on it, unload
pallets on it, etc.)!
Area of application
The ESSMANN LK - L fall-through protection is suitable for
protecting existing roof openings on flat roofs beneath skylight
domes with or without smoke and heat extraction equipment
against objects or people falling through.
The LK - L fall-through protection may not be installed in con-
junction with the ESSMANN smoke and heat extraction system
(SHE) type NRWG LK 24V 160! Instead, you must use the LK -
L - RWG type of fall-through protection!
Installing the fall-through protection is only permissible if the
on-site roof structure permits the safe and reliable fastening of
the equipment in accordance with the registration. The LK - L
fall-through protection is designed and suitable for installation
on all standard substructures. Please bear in mind that the
aerodynamic extraction value of smoke and heat extraction
systems can change as a result of the installation.
