Before First Use
There is a protective layer on the heating element. To
remove this, operate the appliance for approx. 15 minutes
without any contents. Set the programme switch to
- Slight smoke and odours are normal during this process.
Ensure that there is sufficient ventilation.
Operation
- Always slide the crumb tray under the lower heating
element.
- We recommend preheating the oven for approx.
5 – 10 minutes without food.
- Save energy by using the convection function. A fan
distributes the heated air faster and more evenly in the
oven.
- Only grill or roast with the fat pan in place. This prevents
fat from dripping onto the lower heating elements.
- Pizza stone:
CAUTION:
When using the pizza stone, make sure that it is com-
pletely dry. A wet pizza stone can crack when exposed
to high heat.
• For optimum baking results when preparing your
pizza, we recommend preheating the pizza stone
separately for approx. 10 – 15 minutes.
• Preheating: When preheating, the grill grate is placed
on the top shelf level. Place the pizza stone on the grill
grate. Set the top and bottom heat (
ature of 180 °C.
• If you want to place a pizza made from freshly pre-
pared dough on the preheated pizza stone, sprinkle
the pizza stone with flour beforehand.
Temperature Controller (1)
You can set the desired temperature continuously from MIN
to 230 °C with the control.
Timer Control (3)
A timer of up to 60 minutes can be set with the control.
- For technical reasons, the timer control only engages at
the second point (approx. 5 minutes). If you want to set
a shorter time, turn the timer control to the second point
and then back to the desired time.
- After the set time has elapsed, the appliance switches off
automatically and a short signal tone sounds.
