PRODUCT DESCRIPTION AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE
The AT53001 and AT53002 orthoses are multifunctional protective devices used in knee rehabilitation.
They can stabilise the knee at different angles. They are suitable for ligament injuries and instability
of the knee joint. The orthoses are also used for post-operative stabilisation and to limit the range of
movement of the knee. The unique design allows for optimal, individual adjustment to the user's
size.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
HINGE ADJUSTMENT:

1. Unfasten the 4 plastic .
2. Unroll the product. Place the patient's leg in the middle of the
unrolled product. The centre of the hinge should be aligned with
the knee joint.
Note: On model AT53002, the plastic strip marked "TOP" should be
on the thigh side and the other side is for the calf. On model
AT53001, the up/down direction determines the position of the
inscription
"ANTAR.
3. Adjust the length on both sides to the length of the patient's leg.
Ensure that the values on the scale are the same on both sides.
Uneven adjustment can be harmful.
Note: To adjust the length, press the button and move the plastic
bar to the desired position, then release the button, which will
return to the spring-loaded locking position.
4. Separate the ends of the abutment straps, and fasten the plastic
buckle. Adjust the strap to the correct position.
5. If necessary, shorten the excess strap by detaching the Velcro,
shortening the strap and reattaching the Velcro.
6. Adjust the straps for patient comfort.
1. Quick lock: both sides of the support arm provide locking
positions of 0, 15° and 30° (and 45° on the AT53001). that the
settings on both sides match.
2. Pull (AT53002)/press (AT53001) the button and move to the
desired setting. Ensure that the settings on both sides match.
3. For example: to set range 0-30°, pull (AT53002)/press (AT53001)
the EXTENSION button and move to the 0° position. Pull
(AT53002)/press (AT53001) the FLEXION button and move to the
30° position.
4. Proceed in the same way if you want to set, for example, a range
of 30-120°. Pull (AT53002)/press (AT53001) EXTENSION button and
move to 30°. Pull (AT53002)/press (AT53001) FLEXION button and
move to the 120° position.
