Cutting depth adjustment
The cutting depth can be adjusted from 0 to 70 mm for disc diameters of
200 mm. To do this, loosen the wing screw and slide the depth limiter to the
desired position. The reference point is the rear edge of the depth limiter
(arrow). Then tighten the wing screw again.
Turn base plate
Depending on the application (see working instructions), the base plate can
be rotated. To do this, loosen the wing screw, pull the base plate off the
extraction bonnet and rotate it 180°. Slide the base plate onto the extraction
bonnet and secure it with the wing screw.
Working instructions
Longitudinal cut:
Attention!
For longitudinal cuts, the base plate must be aligned such that
the straight side facing forward.
Place the EFS 200 on the window or door frame, switch on and wait until
the maximum speed is reached.
- Guide the machine using both hands
- Slowly and evenly plunge the tool to your preferred depth
- Once in place, push the machine sideways to achieve your intended cut.
Note:
To work with as little dust as possible, push the machine to the
right towards the machine to the right in the direction of the
extraction nozzle.
When pressure is eased, the tool automatically pulls back into its housing..
Corner cutting:
Attention!
Corner cuts may only be performed with the attachable dust cover
attached.
