To install the batteries, use the tool on the
headband to unlatch the door, Open the Fuel
case by popping the door latch over the catch
and rotate the door open.
Install three AAA batteries according to the
polarity markings on the inside of the cabinet.
Observe proper battery polarity when installing
the batteries. lmproper installation of the
batteries will damage the light and void the
warranry.
Rotate the door to the closed position, squeeze
the body between your forefingers and thumb
to snaD the door latch over the catch.

. Never mix fresh and used batteries.
. Never mix different battery brands or
chemistry types.
. Always remove drained batteries
immediately.
. Remove batteries during long periods of
storage.
NOTE: Rechargeable Nicad or Ni[,4H batterres
may result in reduced brightness due to lower
n o m i n a l v o l t a g e .

Mn.tec (High. medium. low and flash) are
selected by pressing and releasing the button
within 1.5 seconds ol lhe previous button press.
There are two ways to turn the Fuel off. You
can cycle through the modes until you reach
off, or if more than two seconds has passed
since the previous butlon press the next press
of the button will turn the lighl off.

assume you have start with fresh batteries and
lf the Fuel fails to light:
. Check the batteries for proper installation.
. Replace batteries if proper installation is
c o n f i r m e d .
. Check the light for water conlamination on
the circuit board. The light will resume normal
operation once the water is shaken or blown
out and the light is left open until completely
dry. lf the light has been contaminated with
salt water, Jlush the unit with fresh water and
dry as described above.

2) Contact Princeton Tec cuslomer service at
800-257-9080 1o requesl an RIVIA number to
send your light in for repair olreplacement. No
warranty repairs will be accepted without an

3) Return the light without batteries to:
