EN352-4:2020 states that the minimum criteria (H, M and L)
must be greater than 85 dBA if the device is to be used in
environments with impulsive noise. For use in environments
with contunuous noise, EN352-4:2020 states that the minimum
level of the L criterion must be greater than 94 dBA, the mi-
nimum level of the M criterion must be greater than 96 dBA,
and the minimum level of the H criterion must be greater than
97 dB. ACE Alpha meets both criteria after rounding up to in-
teger values.
EN352-6:2020 - The calculated A-weighted sound level under
the capsule shall not exceed 82dB(A), taking into account at-
tenuation values. The 82dBA criterion level was -6.4 dbV or
478.6 millivolts. Detailed data for each subject is shown in the
