To power down the Neptune sound processor, depress the 'on/off'
button for 1-2 seconds. The orange LED will fade out to indicate that
the processor is powering down.
Using AAA Batteries
The sound processor is powered by a single, off-the-shelf alkaline or
lithium disposable or nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) rechargeable AAA
battery so you never have to worry about power when traveling away
from home or in an emergency. The Neptune Battery Cover creates an
airtight seal for swimming and bathing as well as to prevent easy removal
by young children.
For recharging instructions, see the manufacturer's 'Instructions for Use'
included with the NiMH battery charger.
