WHEN
TO SQUEEZ
BREAST
If you are breastfeeding well, it is recommended (unless your healthcare professional / breastfeeding counselor recommends otherwise) that you
wait until your breastfeeding and breastfeeding schedule is established (usually at least 2 to 4 weeks after birth) before to start squeezing.
Exceptions:
-If you have breastfeeding problems in the beginning, regular expressing can help to form and maintain the amount Of milk.
- If you are expressing breast milk for your baby to feed in the hospital.
- If your breasts are full (painful or swollen), you can express some milk before or between feedings to relieve the pain and help the baby to latch
on more easily.
- If your nipples are inflamed or cracked, you may decide to express breast milk until they heal.
- If your baby is temporarily weaned and you want to continue breastfeeding when he is with you again, it is a good idea to express regularly to
stimulate breastfeeding.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Solution: The possible cause is excessive suction. You do not need the full force Of the vacuum produced by the pump. If the pain does not
subside, stop using the breast pump and consult your breastfeeding counselor. If the pump does not come off the breast easily, you can break the
vacuum connection by placing a finger between the breast and the massage pad.
Problem: I don't feel any suction.
Solution: Check that you have assembled the breast pump correctly. Also make sure that the pump is placed correctly to the breast to create a
