2.2 Teach-in and installation of repea-
ter in radio receiver unit
2.2.1 Integrated radio receiver/
radio receiver power control
Central vacuum unit with integrated radio
electronic system must be ready for opera-
tion, see Installation instructions for central
vacuum unit.
The following steps are to be taken:
- Set integrated electronic radio system to
LEARN status. Hold the sender close to
the hood of the system as shown in the
illustration.
– For a central vacuum unit with power
control, hold the sender as shown close
to the power control unit.
- Press sender key to
be seen in the LCD display will be
N
[LERN]
- Bring repeater within the range of the
electronic system within 30 seconds.
Insert in plug box - the most suitable
plug box will be within the installation
area of the system.
- Now again disconnect the repeater
from the plug box and insert in the
function plug box (in the final position).
2.2.2 External radio receiver
Attention! The following steps must be
carried out within 30 seconds. The
teach-in process will be automatically
broken off and must be repeated
again should this not be observed.
- Connect the extension cable plug to a
plugbox close to the installed radio
receiver unit.
- Hold the repeater close up to the
housing of the radio receiver unit as
shown in the illustration and then make
the connection with the extension cable.
The yellow LED on the radio receiver
unit will light up.
- Afterwards hold the repeater at a dis-
tance of min. 10 cm away from the radio
receiver unit, disconnect from the exten-
sion cable and then connect up again
directly through the extension cable.
