Please read the instructions carefully
before putting the radio repeater into
operation and go step for step through the
procedure as from Point 2 onwards. Follow
the instructions and observe the directions.
Equipment description
Repeater RP 400 serves to extend the
range of the remote radio control system.
Important instructions
- The Repeater RP 400 is only suitable
for use with the central vacuum
cleaning systems of the following
types: 450 ZA; 451 ZA; 15-300 ZA;
18-450 ZA; 34-450 ZA; 15-301;
18-451; 34-451 and 15-301 PC;
18-451 PC.
Operation of the Repeater is only
permitted in the entire EU and Swit-
zerland, since harmonised frequen-
cies are used (Class 1 equipment)
- Teach-in is possible for maximum 6 sen-
ders through the repeater.

- Two valid signals have to be received in
succession to teach-in one sender.
- The teach-in process will be broken off
in the course of this process should the
second signal not be received within 30
seconds.
- Should the teach-in process be broken
off due to the time being exceeded by
30 seconds, the teach-in process will be
automatically broken off. This is indica-
ted by a fast blinking LED for a period
of 3 seconds. As a consequence the
teach-in process will have to be repea-
ted.

1. Installation
Determine the position in the house which
is the farthest distance away from the
sender and receiver where reliable switch-
ing on and off is ensured. Select a plugbox
within this area, preferably in the cellar or
on a staircase or on the ground floor
where the repeater is to be located after
the teach-in process.
2. Teach-in process
2.1 To teach-in the sender in repeater
- Connect up the repeater to a plugbox
- Hold the sender in the pipe bend or
hand sender close to the repeater
housing as shown in the illustration.
- Press
yellow LED on the repeater unit lights
up.
- Remove sender from repeater and press
the same
The yellow LED on the repeater will go
out.
- Simply repeat the above described ope-
ration to teach-in other senders.
- After all senders have been subjected to
the teach-in process remove repeater
from plugbox.
