Set up
Batteries are not included in the delivery Make sure that fresh batteries have been inserted
correctly into your new remote control unit
Replace alhuays both batteries together and make sure to use no old and new batteries same
time If you wi not use the remote control for longer time, replace the batteries to avoid damages
of remote contro by leakage.
To make your remote control ready for use, you need to carry out one of the following steps:
A
Set up by Brand Code
1 Sw'itch on the device for which you Wsh to use the remote control
(e g TV set)
2 Find the code number of your device brand in the code list (e g Lifetec 0002) from the relevant
device group (TV)
3 Press and hold the device button (e g TV) for three seconds
Release the device button as soon as LED lights up, now it is in set up
mode
4 Enter the 4-digit device code (e g 0002 for Lifetec TV) within 10 seconds

5 The LED turns off if the remote accepts the code Ifthe LED flashes three times, that means
the code may be wrong, and the remote control remains in set-up mode, enter the correct code
from the list again in good time
6 Check the function of the buttons on remote control

Note: Exit the set-up mode by presslng the device button, or the set up
mode is automatically terminated if no button is pressed for 10 seconds

Set up by Automatic Search
1 Sv,'itch on the device that you like to control If it is a VCR insert a cassette

automatically transmitted from the remote control to the device As soon as the device turns
off, press device key to stop the Search And you need to turn on the device by Pov-,er button
before you check other button function

Check
the function
(i e the search cannot be stopped at the correct time) or the majority of the buttons do not
function correctly, restart the search (see steps 2 to 4) to find a suitable code If the majorty of
the buttons function correctly, set- up has been successful

Setting up by Manual Search
