D Set up by Learning Function
The learning function is used to extend the pre-programmed codes The standard code list
already provides you Wth the most important functions, but it is possble to add a few additional
functions A fully functional original remote control is required for learning programming
Please use fresh batteries for both the Learning Remote Control and the Original Remote
Control
1_ Press down and hold the device button whlch you vented to learn (e g. DVD), and press
Learn button at the same time,
remote control is in learning mode for DVD codes
2. Press and release the target button on your new unversal remote control 'mich you want to
learn (e g POWER), the LED starts to being flash ( If not press any button in 14 seconds,
learning mode WII exit Automatically.)
Press the one button (For example, Power button) from your onginal remote control,

It has accepted new code and now you can start to learn another new code from origina

(If not press any button in 14 seconds, it WI exit from learning mode automatically
need to start from step 1 )
4 Repeat step 2 to 4 to learn another code from original remote control
When you finish learning all buttons you want to have, press Learn button to store al

commands you have learnt from original remote and exit from Learning remote
Press TV button and Number 6 button can delete all codes you have learnt for al

devices
Note:
Point the IR transmitter of the original remote control remotes face to the IR receiver of
your new universal remote by approximately 30mm apart Keep two remotes at the same
straight line to make the learning process more accurate
2. When you can not choose any more buttons from new universal remote control for
learning, it means new remote memory is full
Set up Macro

Macro function et you make sequent operation for you home theater. Please press Macro key ,
and then release it. The remote control
programmed before
You can set up a Macro by fol owing be ow steps:
l. Press and hold down the device button and press the Macro key at the same time, then
release it and the LED lights on that means it is in the setting up mode now.
2. You can se ect the device and function key for a sequent operation what you enjoyed. (e.g
TV+POWER+MUTE+TV/AV,
on the TV and mute its sound, change input to AV port, DVD startto play disc, VCR begins to
record at the same time. )
3. Press the Macro key to save the setting, LED will turn off, then exit from current setup state
4. The last command you have set
5. Tota 10 commands you can store for one macro button
when LED turns on then release the both pressed keys, now
remote contro flashes three times and stop, it
send out a sequent IR commands
DVD+PLAY, VCR+RECORD, etc That means you want to turn
