• Only press the control button once the
heating plate is in contact with the skin.
If you press the button too early and
"heat up" the heating plate, this can
cause burns on the skin.
• For reasons of hygiene, the insect bite
healer should only be used on one person.
• Diabetics should not use the insect bite
healer as their pain sensitivity might
possibly be reduced and they might in-
flict burns on themselves.
• This device should not be used with
persons who are helpless, with children
under 3 or persons insensitive to heat
(e.g. persons with skin changes related
to illness or persons with scarred skin
in the area of application, after taking
any pain-relieving medication, alcohol
or drugs).
• The insect bite healer does not help
against insect allergies.
• This unit is only intended for personal
use and not for commercial applications.
• You should protect the device from im-
pact, moisture, dust, chemicals, major
temperature fluctuations and direct
exposure to the sun's rays.

6. Cleaning and disposal
• Always remove the battery from the
device before you clean it.
• Clean the device with a slightly damp
cloth. In case of more extreme soiling
you can also moisten the cloth with
mild soapy water.
• Make sure that no water penetrates
into the device. If this should ever hap-
pen then only use the device once it is
completely dry.
• Do not use any chemical cleaners or ab-
rasive agents for cleaning.
• Please dispose of the device in ac-
cordance with the directive 2002/96/
EG – WEEE (Waste Electrical and Elec-
tronic Equipment).

disposal.
