TO SET UP THE PEDAL:
The pedal is calibrated to suit a Fender Precision, begin by setting the input control to 50%, this
creates a 1:1 gain ratio, this can be adjusted for differing basses a lower ratio will suit high output
basses and vice versa for low output basses.
NEXT SET THE BANDWIDTH OF THE FILTERS:
To do this set the Drive Control to zero and the Drive mix control to full
Set the Bypass control to zero
The low frequency cut off is adjustable from a roll off starting at 100Hz to 235Hz
The high frequency cut off is adjustable between 353Hz and 5000Hz
This is the band that will get distorted by the pedal
TONE SHAPER:
Traditional tone shaping involves the depression of the mid-range
Set the Bypass control to full
Set the Drive Control and the Drive mix control to zero
Adjusting the filters will determine the width of the mid-range affected
Adjusting the drive mix will determine the depth of the mid cut applied
DISTORTION PEDAL:
To set the pedal for distortion
Set the Bypass control to zero
Set the Drive control for the amount for dirt required
Set the drive level by toggling the on off switch so that there is no net change in level when the
pedal is engaged
Finally adjust the Bypass control to bring in the low bass and treble to sharpen up the overall
sound

TONE SHAPER 2 SOLO:
Traditional Bass solo tone shaping involves the boosting of the mid-range to enable the bass to
cut through for Solos etc.
Set the Bypass control to Zero
Set the Drive Control to zero
Set the Drive mix control to full
Adjusting the filters will determine the width of the mid-range affected
Adjusting the drive mix will determine the depth of the mid cut applied
Carefully adjust the Bypass to fill out either side of the mid boost
