SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS
Mounting and maintenance are allowed for qualified
electricians with valid electrical work permit for
electric operations at units up to 1000 V after
careful study of the user's manual.
• Check the device for any visible damages of the im-
peller and the casing before starting installation. The
casing must be free of any foreign objects that could
damage the impeller blades.
• This device is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental knowledge, unless they have been given su-
pervision or instruction concerning use of the device
by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should not play with the device.
• Disconnect the device from power mains prior to any
connection, servicing and/or repair operations.
• Misuse of the device or any unauthorized modifica-
tions are not allowed.
• The device must not be used to activate water hea-
ters, room heaters, etc.
• Do not touch the device with wet or humid parts of
the body (e.g. hands or feet).
• The electrical system to which the device should be

connected must comply with the acting local electri-
cal norms and standards.
• The device can be connected to the supply mains only
if the voltage and the frequency of the supply mains
correspond to those written in the rating label.
• The fixed electrical wiring must be equipped with an
automatic circuit breaker with the gap between the
breaker contacts on all poles not less than 3 mm
(overvoltage category III conditions).
• Take steps to prevent ingress of smoke, carbon mo-
noxide and other combustion products into the room
through open chimney flues or other fire-protection
devices. Sufficient fresh air supply must be provided
for proper combustion and exhaust of gases through
the chimney of fuel burning equipment to prevent
back drafting. Consult the local norms with regards
to this.
• It is forbidden for the device to discharge air into hot
air ducts used for the evacuation of fumes coming
from the combustion of stoves or other combustion
devices.
• Do not use the device in an environment containing
hazardous, inflammable substances or explosive
materials and vapors, e.g. spirits, gasoline, insecti-
cides, etc.
• The flow of air or fumes that is conveyed by the device
