Gently pull the Strap tight
then feed the Tightening Nut
(H) onto the head of the Strap
– but do not tighten. Repeat
steps 9-11 for the bottom

Option B: Fitting across 2 spindles (balusters)
Hold the Brackets between
the 2 spindles against which
you wish to fix your safety

other 80-85 cm from the flo-

the width of each Bracket
until the 2 tabs fit tightly
between the 2 spindles. Then
firmly re-tighten the Bolts.
Using the pencil marks,
centre the Brackets across
the Wooden Bar, and use the
Wood Screws (G) to screw
them into position.

Insert Corner protectors (I)
top and bottom, between the
Strap and the stairpost, to
the corners directly in contact
with the Strap.
Tread the Straps (F) thorugh
the Brackets. On one side of
the Bracket you will see 2
slots. Lead the Strap down
through the inner of these
2 slots, so that the smooth
side of the Strap runs behind
the Bracket Nut. Then pull
the Strap back out of the slot
until the serrated section is
through.

Hand tighten both Tightening
Nuts, then use the Tighte-
ning Spanner (J) to clamp
everything securely together.
Now go straight to step 15.
