11. INFORMATION CONCERNING CE SAR CERTIFICATION
(SPECIFIC ABSORBATION RATE)
The SAR limit of Europe is 2.0 W/kg for the body at 5 mm. The SAR limit of Europe is 4.0
W/kg for the limbs at 0 mm. The device has been tested against this SAR limit. The highest
SAR value reported under this standard during product certification for limbs is 1.49 W/kg.
The highest SAR value reported under this standard during product certification for body
is 0.7 W/kg. This device was tested for typical body worn operations with the back of the
handset kept 5 mm from the body. The device complies with RF specifications when used
at 5 mm from the body. Belt clips, holsters and similar accessories used should not contain
metallic components in the assembly. The use of accessories that do not satisfy these
requirements may not comply with RF exposure requirements, and should be avoided.
