7. Functional check
The colour of the status LED on the anti-static bar and of the LEDs on the optional cable
connector can be used to determine the status of the anti-static bar.

HV OK signal overload
Possible causes of overload are:
- Fouling of the anti-static bar.
- Direct contact between conductive material and the emitters.
- The anti-static bar has been fitted too close to conductive (machine) parts.
Possible causes of HV OK overload are:
- Short circuit of the HV OK signal
- Excessive load of the HV OK signal
8. Maintenance
Warning:
- Disconnect the power supply before carrying out work on the unit.
8.1. Regular cleaning of the anti-static bar
- Clean the emitter points and the anti-static bar regularly with a hard, non-metal brush.
Warning:
- The emitters are sharp and can cause physical injury.
8.2. Cleaning a heavily fouled anti-static bar
- Clean the anti-static bar using a suitable cleaning agent (such as isopropyl alcohol).

- Allow the anti-static bar to dry completely before operating it again.
