1.7 Safety instructions
WARNING
Risk of accident due to falling objects or
the storage rack collapsing or falling over.
Falling parts can cause serious injuries,
especially to the head area.
►Distribute the load evenly over the sto-
rage area.
►Never exceed the maximum permissi-
ble load weight of the individual levels,
see chapter „Technical data".
►Never exceed the maximum permis-
sible load weight of the product, see
chapter „Technical data".
►Store heavy objects on the lowest level.
►Distribute the load evenly. The storage
rack is not suitable for point impact
loads or dynamic loads, such as heavy
items with a small footprint or items that
are stored suspended.
►Secure all objects that do not have
a fixed position against rolling away.
►Never climb onto the product.
CAUTION
Risk of cuts and crushing.
Cutting injuries to the hands may occur
when using the product.
►Wear commercially available protecti-
ve gloves during unpacking, assembly
and transport of the product.
►Only transport the product when it is
unloaded.
►Transport and assemble the product
with at least one second person.
CAUTION
Injuries and property damage.
Modification of the product may result in
personal injury and property damage and
will void the warranty.
►Only use the product with the original
parts supplied and in the original con-
dition.
►Only use spare parts approved by the
manufacturer.
2. Unpack and check
2.1 Unpacking the product
WARNING
Risk of suffocation from packaging material
and from swallowing small parts.
►Dispose of the packaging material
in the household waste according to
regulations.
►Store the packaging and small parts
required for repackaging away from
moisture and out of reach of children.
NOTICE
Material damage.
Pointed, sharp and scratching objects
can damage the product when opening
the packaging.
►Do not use any pointed, sharp or scrat-
ching objects to open the packaging
►Be careful with the following work.
1. Pull off tape and tie-down straps by hand or
use scissors.
2. Set the box up with the directional arrows po-
inting up.
3. Open the packing carton.
4. Remove all parts from the box.
5. Lay the pieces side by side on a clear, soft,
and level surface.
6. Check the scope of delivery for completeness
and intactness, see chapter "„12. Part list" on
page 33 on page 33.
2.2 Checking the scope of delivery
NOTICE
Material damage.
Using defective parts or parts that are in-
complete can damage the product.
►Check the scope of delivery for com-
pleteness and integrity.
►Do not use the product with missing or
broken parts.
