Use and store the device only in
closed rooms.

Do not operate or store the device in
rooms with high humidity.
■
Ensure that the connection and the
control unit cannot fall into water or
become wet. In addition, the heat-
ing pad must not fall into water or
become wet during use.
■
If the device becomes wet or falls
into water while it is connected to the
mains power, pull the mains plug out
of the plug socket immediately. Only
after this should you pull the device
out of the water. Never attempt to
pull it out of the water while it is still
connected to the mains power!
■
Never touch control unit and the con-
nection with wet hands when the de-
vice is connected to the mains power.
■
Do not use the device if it has mal-
functioned or the control unit or the
connection has been dropped in
water in order to avoid any hazards.
Have it checked in a specialist work-
shop before using it again.

Do not operate the device in the
vicinity of combustible material.
■
Do not place any combustible materi-
als or materials that melt easily on the
device.
WARNING – Danger of Injury
■
Keep plastic film and bags well away
from children and animals. There is a
danger of suffocation.
■
Make sure that the connection is
always kept out of the reach of small
children and animals. There is a dan-
ger of strangulation.
■
Babies and sleeping or unconscious
people may not be placed on the
device.

Only use the device if you have no
physical illnesses or ailments. If you
are unsure whether the device may be
used, consult a doctor.

People with a pacemaker may use the
device only after consultation with
their doctor.
■
Pregnant women or those who have
recently given birth should not use
the device, or should use it only after
consultation with their doctor.
■
Do not use the device near to or
on injuries, swelling, skin irritations,
infected skin, warts, fungal infections,
abnormal changes in the skin or body
parts with no feeling.

Switch off the device immediately if
you experience pain or feel unwell
during use.

Make sure that the connection is not
squashed, bent or laid over sharp
edges and does not come into con-
tact with hot surfaces.

Disconnect the device from the mains
power if a fault occurs or during a
thunderstorm.
■
When you disconnect the device from
the mains power, always pull on the
mains plug and not the cable. Never
pull or carry the device by the connec-
tion.
■
Use only original accessories from the
manufacturer in order to guarantee
that there is no interference that may
prevent the device from working and
to avoid possible damage.
■
Use and store the device at room
temperature, do not expose it to
extreme temperatures or temperature
fluctuations.
■
Protect the device from impacts.
■
Do not use the connection with a dif-
ferent device.
■
The device has built-in overheating
protection. Once it has been activat-
