Safety Warnings
Dear Consumer, thank you for choosing one of our products. Yours accessory has been designed,
manufactured and tested with care and in compliance of all the strictest regulations in force. We
remind you to read carefully for your safety and that of all travelers. Keep this installation manual of
your accessory in your vehicle. Carefully read this manual before assembling the accessory, as well
as the load. Remember to always respect the legislation in force in the country of destination.
INSTALLATION
• The accessory is compatible with all R-Bikes.
• Install the accessory carefully as indicated in the booklet instructions supplied.
• Check that all the details indicated are always present. Do not install and use the product if
accessories are missing of the same.
• Do not modify or tamper with the accessory under any circumstances.
• Do not assemble or use the product if there is any doubt about the assembly; in this case, consult
your local dealer.
• After installing the accessory on the vehicle, make sure by pulling it and pushing it hard in all
directions, that it is well secured. If you can move it, it means that the accessory must be fixed
more firmly.
• Do the same once the load has been placed on the accessory. Notes: Make sure that the
mounting of the product does not restrict its operation wiper, if present.
LOAD
• Before placing the load on the accessory, consult the user manual and vehicle maintenance to
verify its range.
• Make sure that the load complies with the information in the booklet of use and installation of the
R-Bike where the accessory will be applied.
• Never exceed the permitted load of the accessory.
• Place the load on the product so that it does not protrude underneath of the vehicle loading floor,
ensuring that the center of gravity of the load is as low as possible and that the center of gravity is
included between the roof bars. Remember to always respect the legislation in force in the country
of destination.
• Place the skis and snowboards with the tips pointing upwards; to check that the skis do not slip
off during movement.
• Make sure that no part of the load comes into contact with the door of the vehicle, compromising
its integrity.
• Before leaving, make sure that everything is well closed and tightened; to verify, periodically during
the trip, tightening nuts and straps bolts in general, as well as the handholds of the load. Repeat
the operation at regular intervals depending on the type of road.
• The accessory shall be signaled using specific panels showing the protruding load. Appropriate
precautions shall be taken in order to avoid dangers to other vehicles. Skys or snowboars shall
not cover the lighting devices (position lights), the visual signaling devices (brake, third light brake,
and turn signals) and the vehicle plate.
• For the installation of more than one pair of skis, or more than one snowboard, the presence of
two people is recommended.
