2. BEFORE USE
-
This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the appliance
out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other
packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent product damage when
transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all
packaging materials are recycled accordingly.

Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any
piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service
immediately.

Clean the plates with a soft, dampened cloth. Dry the heating plates with a cloth or paper
towel.

Slightly grease the non-stick plates with some oil or butter using an absorbent kitchen
towel. Wipe off any excess oil.
Warning
A slight odour and smoke might appear when using the appliance for the first time. This is due
to manufacturing material residues and does not affect the operation of the appliance.

3. OPERATION
1.
Close the waffle maker and plug it into a wall power supply. The power indicator light will
turn on, meaning that the waffle maker is switched on and has started preheating.
2. When it reaches the desired temperature, the temperature indicator will turn on.
Tip:
For better results, spray the plates with oil before using them. This will help you remove the
waffle after cooking it.
3. Open the waffle maker and pour the batter to be cooked onto the bottom plate.
4. Close the waffle maker. The temperature indicator will turn off again, indicating the waffle
maker is heating up.
5. Let the batter cook for 3 or 6 minutes, the temperature indicator will turn on once the
waffle maker reaches the desired temperature.
6. Once the waffle is cooked, use the handle to open the waffle maker and use a heat-
resistant silicone or wooden spatula to remove the waffle.
Warning
Do not use metal or sharp utensils to remove the waffle, as these could damage the non-stick
coating of the plates.
7.
Once cooking is finished, unplug the waffle maker from the power socket, open it, and let
it cool down.
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Always turn off and unplug the device after each use and before cleaning.

Do not disassemble the product to clean it.

Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids.

Do not wash the appliance in the dishwasher.

Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the surface of the device.
-
Do not use metal utensils or abrasive cleaning products, as they can damage the non-stick
surface.

Thoroughly dry all parts of the appliance before storing it.

Make sure the product has completely cooled down and is completely dry before storing it.
