Let your device breathe. Heat is released from the walls so it is important to leave a circulation
of air around your device.
Energy saving tips
▪ The appliance should be located in the coolest area of the room, away from heat
producing appliances or heating ducts, and out of the direct sunlight.
▪ Let hot foods cool to room temperature before placing them inside. An overload will
force the compressor to run longer. Food that freezes too slowly may lose quality, or
deteriorate.
▪ Be sure to wrap foods properly, and wipe containers dry before placing them in the
appliance. This cuts down on frost build-up inside.
▪ Storage bin should not be lined with aluminum foil, wax paper, or paper toweling. Liners
interfere with cold air circulation, making the appliance less efficient.
▪ Organize and label food to reduce door openings and extended searches. Remove as
many items as needed at one time, and close the door as soon as possible.
Reversing the door
Your refrigerator is designed with a reversible door. You can therefore choose whether it
opens to the left or to the right.
Instructions for changing opening direction:
1) Diagram A: remove the parts in the order indicated:
1 – 2 – 3 – 4 – 5 – 6 – 7 – 8 – 9 – 10 - 11
2) Diagram B: rotate parts 8 and 12 by 180° B
3) Diagram C: re-assemble the parts in the order indicated:
12 – 9 – 10 – 11 – 7 – 4 – 5 – 6 – 3 – 2 – 1
