Intended Use
This watch winder is a piece of furniture and a decoration at the same time. It comes in black
piano lacquer with matching velvet interior. Furthermore, the speed and direction of rotation can
be set. The watch winder also has a drawer.
The voltage is supplied via the power adapter (4V/DC) enclosed.
The watch winder and the enclosed power adapter are only intended for use in dry indoor loca-
tions.
All the safety and operating instructions in this manual must be followed carefully. These instruc-
tions not only protect the device but, in particular, your health. Please read the entire operating
manual before using the product.

Explanation of the Symbols

• The watch winder and the enclosed power adapter are only intended for use in dry
indoor locations.

be especially careful when children are around.
• Handle the product with care, it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental

bags etc. can be dangerous playthings for children, there is a risk of suffocation.
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, disconnect
the device immediately and secure it against inadvertent operation.
• It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the device is visibly damaged,
- the device no longer works and
- if the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of time
or
- it has been subjected to considerable stress in transit.
• On industrial sites, the accident prevention regulations of the association of the
industrial workers' society for electrical equipment and utilities must be followed.

Getting started
• Make sure that the „ON/OFF" switch (1) is in the OFF position so the product is switched off.
• Connect the low-voltage plug of the enclosed power adapter to the „connection for power supply
(4V/DC)" (2).
• Plug the power adapter into a standard domestic socket (230V/AV 50 Hz).
• Take the „watch holder" (4) out. It is held in place by a clip and can be pulled out forwards.
• Attach the watch to the „watch holder" (4).
• Place the „watch holder" (4) back into the fastening slot in the watch winder.
• Select the direction of rotation for the „watch holder" (4) by using the rotary knob to the right
below the „watch holder" (4). See items „A/B/C" in the product view.
• Select the desired mode, with the „mode selector switch" (3) (see section „Description of
selectable modes").
• Switch on the watch winder, by moving the „ON/OFF" switch (1) to the ON position.
Description of selectable modes
There is a „mode selector switch" (3) on the back of the housing. The following modes can be
selected using this switch:

• The product is not a toy and must be kept out of the reach of children. Therefore,
be especially careful when children are around.
• Handle the product with care, it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental
drops, even from a low height.
• Always unplug the power adapter from the watch winder before cleaning.
• Never pull on the cable of the power adapter. Always unplug it from the mains
socket by gripping the plug housing.
• Never touch the power adapter with wet or damp hands. There is a risk of a lethal
electric shock!
• Never replace damaged mains cables yourself. In such an event, disconnect the
appliance from the mains and take it to a specialist workshop.
• Never pour fluids out above electrical devices. You run the risk of causing a fire or
a fatal electric shock. If liquids enter the device, immediately disconnect it from the
power supply, remove the plug from the mains and consult an expert.
• Maintenance, adjustment and repair may only be carried out by a qualified specia-
list or a specialised repair shop.
• If you have any questions, which are not answered in this manual, please contact
our technical service or another specialist.
