Installing the battery
When you install or replace the battery, make sure to turn the
power off after detaching the Rimpitch-C from the guitar.
When the battery begins to run low, the green LED at the
center of the meter ( ) becomes dark. Once the battery
depletes further, the note name indicator LED will flash,
and the LED meter will not function smoothly. Once this
occurs, it's time to replace the battery as soon as possible.
1. While lightly pressing the OPEN button on the back of
the Rimpitch-C, push the battery cover in direction A
and push it to open it up.
OPEN button
2. Making sure to observe the correct polarity, insert the
battery so that the "+" side of the battery is visible.
3. Return the battery cover to its original position.
Attaching to the instrument
Attach the Rimpitch-C to the lower side of the sound hole
so that the display is easy to read when you place the guitar
into playing position. The Rimpitch-C detects the pitch and
tunes by picking up the vibrations of the guitar.
The Rimpitch-C can be attached to any guitar where the sound
hole has a circle diameter of 100 mm +/- 3 mm.
Please carefully attach the Rimpitch-C to your instrument.
Leaving the Rimpitch-C attached for a long period of time
may damage or mark the instrument's surface.
Depending on various factors such as age-related change or
the surface finish, there is a possibility that your instrument
may be damaged by attaching this product.
Attach the Rimpitch-C to the guitar using both hands to pre-
vent its falling into the sound hole.
