RS232 Universal Serial T-Switch
The W&T RS232 Universal Serial T-Switch, Model 85643
described on the following pages, is an extremely versatile
device for implementing virtually any imaginable uni- or
bi-directional 2:1 coupling of RS232 devices.
The T-switch features one Master and two Slave interfaces,
each of which can be freely parameterized independently
of the others, as well as four configurable data paths:
Master C <> Slave A and Master C <> Slave B.
Each of these channels is equipped with a 1 MByte buffer.
The channels are switched either on a time basis or using
control sequences from any terminal of the T-switch.
