REBOOT Mobile Computer

When the Mobile Computer does not perform any functions during operation, you should reboot the computer.
There are two kinds of REBOOT:
WARM BOOT The Mobile Computer is rebooted and at the same time all running programs are closed.
COLD BOOT The Mobile Computer is rebooted and additionally deletes all the data and entries stored in
the RAM memory. Formats, preferences and other settings are restored to factory settings.
Data and entries stored in the flash memory (applications and platform folders) and data
stored on a memory card are not deleted.
It is recommended to try a WARM BOOT first. If the Mobile Computer is still not ready for operation, you should
perform a COLD BOOT.
WARM BOOT Mobile Computer
Press the POWER button for about 5 seconds.
The display becomes dark.
Running programs are closed.
The mobile computer reboots.
COLD BOOT Mobile Computer
Press the POWER button for about 45 seconds.
The display becomes dark for a short time.
Formats, preferences and other settings are restored to factory settings.
The Mobile Computer reboots.
It is necessary to perform the settings in the configuration menu again (calibration touch screen, use
stylus, input date) in order to return to the TODAY screen.
All data synchronised with ActiveSync are automatically restored during the next synchronization.
