Intended use
The DK-2310 is a wireless number pad powered with a 9 V battery and sending at a
frequency of 433 MHz. It can be combined with the receiver DA-2311, DA-2322 and DA-
2800. It is also compatible with most commonly available 433 MHz receivers.
After entering a PIN, the device can control 4 channels of the receiver and has a
service life of approx. one year with 10-30 accesses per day thanks to the 9V alkaline
battery.
- 10 user PINs for signal output 1 (channel 1)
- 10 user PINs for signal output 2 (channel 2)
- 10 user PINs for signal output 3 (channel 3)
- a door bell button (channel 4)
- 10 guest PINs for signal output 1
- one administrator code for access to all 3 channels and to lock channel 1
- a master code to access the programming mode
- a "DAP" code to access the programming mode (if master code was forgotten)

• The unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the unit is not permit-
ted for safety and approval reasons (CE).
• If you have doubts about how the equipment should be operated or how to
safely connect it, consult a trained technician.
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices
that are connected to this device.
• Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around. It could be a
dangerous plaything for children.
• Keep the unit out of the reach of children. It is not a toy.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Em-
ployer's Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and Operat-
ing Facilities are to be observed.
• In schools, educational institutions, hobby workshops and do-it-yourself
workshops, the operation of modules must be supervised by trained per-
sonnel in a responsible manner.
• If you are unsure as to the correct connections or have questions that are
not answered in the operating manual, then please contact our technical
support department or a professional tradesman.
• Be sure to follow the safety instructions in each chapter of this manual.
Preparation
• Remove the screws on the underside of the device with a suitable mini-Allen key.
• Carefully open the cover and insert a suitable 9 V block battery into the device.
• Wait through the one-minute "start-up" phase, which the device signals with repea-
ted beeps and which can last approx. 45 seconds
Assembly
• Do not position the device close to e.g. reinforced concrete or metallic objects that
may impair the radio communication
• Make sure that the device was positioned inside the receiving range of the receiver.
1) Open the device carefully by loosening the two screws at the housing and remove
the main board inside.
2) Mount the device to the wall by screwing the screws provided from the inside of
the housing through the holes inside the device into the wall. The required plugs
are also provided.
3) Insert the 9V battery into the designated compartment and connect the battery
block with the board.
4) Put the main board back into its original position and close the device correctly
again.
There is a so-called jump contact on the inside of the board. It is used to
adjust the signal sound.
One jumper position causes a loud (setting "HIGH") signal sound, the other
a quiet (setting "LOW") sound (factory settings).
Getting started
After connecting the 9 V battery block with the main board, the device will sound a
signal for one minute during the start-up phase. This period is the only possibility to
enter the "DAP code 8 0 8 0" (you can find further information in the chapter "Program-
ming"). After this period, the device changes to the normal operating mode.
Battery voltage indicator
The number pad checks the charging state of the battery every time it is used. The
device emits 10-second long warning sounds as soon as the battery capacity is low.
Please change the battery immediately, if this is the case
Programming example
a) Now enter the master code with the button combination:
to enter the programming mode. The device signals the correct input
with two short beeps and the flashing of the left yellow status LED.
b) Now enter the following button combination in order to program the
example code:

(a) Output number (1 - 3)
(b) Group number (0 - 9)
(c) User code (4 - 8 digits)
(d) Button to save the code (pound/hash)
Please note that the input is cut off approx. 9 seconds after the last button is
pressed if the button combination has not yet been fully entered. The device
signals this cut-off with five short beeps.
The device now confirms the correct input with two short beeps. (If the entry
is invalid, a short "beep sequence" with 5 short beep sounds.)
To exit the programming mode now, press the following buttons to exit:
